Keyboard Tester Version 1.0 lets you test the keys and buttons on your keyboard.This is a dos program so you must be in dos to use this program.
You can create a bootdisk with one of the following operating systems below:
MS-DOS, Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 98The README.1ST has information on how to create a bootdisk to get to dos.
We created this program for the few reasons that are listed below.
1. To allow anyone to test the keys, buttons and controls on their keyboard.
2. To allow anyone to test for stuck keys, buttons and controls on their keyboard.
This program cannot test mouse buttons on keyboards.
This program can test keyboards that have a 5-Pin Din keyboard
Connector, 6-Pin DIN keyboard connector or a usb connector.
Keyboards that have a 6-Pin Din keyboard connector are called
PS/2 keyboards.
To test usb keyboards the BIOS needs to support usb
keyboards so the usb keyboard can be used in dos.

You cannot test Zoom Controls or any other Controls in the
Shareware Version.
You can only test the keys listed below in the Shareware Version.
A, B, C, N, S, Enter, Esc, Pause,
Caps Lock, Num Lock, Scroll Lock
or ScrLk.
If you want to test any other keys on your keyboard then you will
need to order the registered version.
If you want to test any buttons on your keyboard then you will
need to order the registered version.
If you want to test Zoom Controls or any other Controls on your
keyboard then you will need to order the registered version.
When you order Keyboard Tester Registered Version 1.0 you will need to choose your Order Type.
